As I write to you, I am coming off of a great week. I was able to finally rest and recharge after an extremely hectic couple of months. I hope this message finds you well and making progress on your goals. Labor Day is often referred to as the last official day of summer. While we have a few weeks before the start of fall, this is truly a reminder that summer is quickly coming to an end. I hope you can look back on this season of your life with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Summer is often the time of the year when many people fall off. While I am not telling you that you cannot relax and vacation, I am reminding you that you cannot live on pause and reach your greatest potential. Every summer I make it my intention to not get distracted. I maintain my disciplines, develop uncommon focus and continue to focus on results. You will not be rewarded for what you aspire to do. Ultimately, you will only be rewarded for being a person of action.

Have you ever read a book and got stuck in a chapter? Have you thought about what the next chapter of your life will look like? Will you dare to write your next chapter? If you are an avid reader like me, then I am sure that you have read a book and found yourself stuck in a chapter. Some books are so good that I hit a point in the story where I feel like my mind is about to explode. So often I will go back to the beginning of that chapter and reread the chapter again. While that is okay with books, many people have gotten stuck in a chapter in life. They want to move forward but they have no clue how to break free. I know what that feels like. It is a miserable feeling to live your life imprisoned by a moment. We miss so much in life when we are not present. However, you cannot be present until you have the courage to break free from the psychological prison that has been holding you captive. We cannot control everything that happens in our lives. On the other hand, we do have a choice whether or not we live captive to a chapter in our lives. Appreciate each page but do not get stuck on a page.

I have often thought about what the next chapter of my life will look like. In fact, I just celebrated another birthday and this is often a time of reflection in my life. In addition, I always sit down and assess my goals and evaluate the next course that my life should take. I never just want to get older. Essentially, I want to enter every new year of life with wisdom, capacity ,and insight that will set me up for success. Age without wisdom only produces ignorance and inferior living. You should take the time to think about what the next chapter of your life will look like. Ultimately, I have discovered that if you do not determine what the next chapter of your life will look like, then the world around you will define your next chapter. Think about where you see yourself in the next phase of your life. What will you be doing? What type of relationships will you have? Where will you live? More importantly, what tools do you need to get there? Discomfort is always the catalyst to the next dimension. New chapters will never be created from your comfort zone. Make a decision that you are going to dare to script a new story for your life.

After you have thought about what your next chapter will look like, you must then have the courage to write the next chapter of your life. As you read this, I am embarking on a brand-new chapter in my own life. I am stepping back from Jamelle Sanders International and focusing on some personal goals and objectives that I want to accomplish. I am not ungrateful for the years that I have poured into JSI. However, I am at a phase in my life where securing my future is my highest priority. You will still get newsletters and empowerment tools from me. However, you will see less of me and my message in the coming days. It is a decision that I have been pondering for the last year. I have spoken with advisors and mentors and I am at peace with my decision. Too many times we dream of a better life but we are unwilling to do the things that will empower us to live our dreams. One day is one of the greatest oppositions to your destiny. You have to stop saying one day and decide that today is the day you are going to transform your life. I know it is scary to break out of what is familiar to you. However, nobody wants to read a book that continues to repeat the same storyline over and over again. Great stories have the ability to captivate you. You should always aim to create a memorable life. In other words, live in such a way that people can read the pages of your story and find significance. Every single day of your life your story is being written. I choose to fill my story with page-turning moments of greatness. It’s time to stop dreaming and wake up and live the life of your dreams. You have the pen and the power to script new possibilities for your life!

In closing, I hope my message today hits home with you in a big way. I am always honored to know that people are inspired and moved by my message. On the other hand, the greatest reward for me is when people take what I have said and produce results in their lives. I know so many people that are miserable. They know that they have been made for more. However, they have settled for a life of mediocrity. They have believed the lie that life cannot get better. Stop building your life on philosophies and build your life on the paradigm of a winner. Life gets better when you live beyond limitations and boundaries. Your story does not have to end in defeat. Your story can be one that is pregnant with destiny. Never allow anyone to write your story for you. Dare to create a new chapter in your life!
