Mountain Moving Faith!

Well, last week was truly a great week for me. It was very productive and I was able to get so much done. We have officially ended the second quarter. We are now in the third quarter and the second half of 2018. Hopefully, you can look back at the last six months with a sense of accomplishment. Time is so precious and we cannot afford to waste one moment. Stay focused, refuse to be distracted and I guarantee that the next quarter will be filled with breakthroughs in your life. Discipline always lifts you into new dimensions!
Has your faith become stagnant? Are you allowing doubt and unbelief to rob you of your destiny? Will you develop mountain moving faith? Last week I was praying as I often do. However, in the midst of my prayer, I felt an explosion in my spirit. Then I heard that it is important in this season that we add the element of faith to our prayers. Faith is a word that has been cheapened in this era. First of all, let me refute the myth that faith is religion or tradition. Also, it is important to note that faith is not magical or mental assent. Faith is unwavering trust, total devotion, reliance or steadfast commitment. So many of the definitions that we have concocted have nothing to do with faith. If you do not know what faith is, then it becomes impossible to exercise your faith and get results. One of the number one reasons faith becomes stagnant is because it is not operative. Sadly, many people think that if they can think hard enough they will see a breakthrough in their lives. However, faith is more than belief or mental assent. Faith becomes stagnant because we allow the continuum of time to dictate our victory. The reality is that time is not as important to your breakthrough as trust. Our failure to trust is what stifles our faith producing hope deferred and a sick heart.
Furthermore, too many people allow doubt and unbelief to rob them of prophetic destiny. I am not condemning you for doubting. I have had seasons in my life where doubt and unbelief gripped me and I wavered at the promises of God. On the other hand, I am saying that you have to uproot doubt and unbelief from your heart. You must fill your mind with the promises of God. You must fill your environment with the expectation that you want to see. Refuse to allow negativity, skepticism or toxicity to get into your atmosphere. When you are believing for breakthrough in your life, you need to create an atmosphere of possibilities. In other words, you are going to have to put some things out of your life. You cannot afford to give your ear to anything that will extinguish your hope and rob you of manifestation. In this era, I advise you to guard your atmosphere. While we cannot control everything going on around us, I have discovered that you can control what is going on inside of you. That means that you have the power to change your atmosphere and to create an environment of limitless possibilities and opportunities.
If you are going to survive the myriad of social, economic and political challenges in the world today, you must make a decision to develop mountain moving faith. Mountain moving faith is a faith that does not take into account the odds stacked against you or the great adversity you must face. Mountain moving faith is a faith that sees in the invisible, lays hold of the intangible and does the impossible. In fact, mountain moving faith will overrule every impossibility and propel inevitable breakthroughs in your life. Mountains respond to the voice of faith. Are you speaking out of fear or timidity? Or are you speaking out of faith and authority? Mountains will obey when you walk in the power that you possess. Challenges will crumble when you speak with conviction and start making your declaration of faith. What seemed hopeless will become possible when you start seeing through the eyes of faith. The size of your mountain is no match for the greatness of your faith. It’s time to stop settling and start speaking to the mountains in your life!
In closing, as you can see I am stirred up about the subject of faith. I believe that in every season of your life your faith should be increasing. In reality, you are always growing in faith or fear. You must expand your faith if you want to extinguish fear in your life. Faith is not mental assent or head knowledge. Faith is a heart response that is not moved by this three-dimensional world. Faith is not shaken, uncertain or afraid. Faith is bold, persistent and unwavering. You live at the level of your faith. I choose to have great faith. I’m developing a faith that empowers me to conquer anything. There is nothing unreachable to the person that cultivates mountain moving faith!
