Born for More!

Well, I can truly say that last week was a much better week for me. I was able to be productive, have some follow up conversations with some key mentors and make some progress on some exciting new projects. I hope that you had a great week as well. More importantly, I hope you are laser focused on your vision and having a phenomenal start to the second quarter. If you were not able to join me on Thursday night, you missed an incredible night of empowerment and transformation. I laid out strategic plans for executing your vision and manifesting your goals in 2018. It was a powerful night and people are still talking about it. We are almost a month into the second quarter. Time is a valuable asset and you must protect it at all cost. Only give your energy to the things that will elevate your life. This is your year to live a life of favor and fulfillment!
Have you reached a place of frustration in your life? Do you feel like you have become stagnant and that your life is not moving forward? When will you realize that you were born for more? If you read my post last week, you can tell that it was a frustrating week for me. I was under a lot of pressure and I was very frustrated. I know a lot of people will not admit that they are frustrated. Many people think that wearing a facade will make the frustration go away. However, frustration is an indication that you have exhausted a season and it is time for a shift in your life. If you do not make a shift in that moment, you will find your life spiraling out of control. When you are frustrated you find yourself lacking focus. Also, you become irritable, inconsistent and irrational. Frustration often drives you to a point of desperation. I have discovered over the years that desperation can be deadly to your potential. It is not enough for you to be frustrated. You must make the decision to use frustration as the catalyst to a more fruitful and meaningful life. Frustration is designed to be the friction that ignites new passion and possibilities for your life. Honestly, without frustration, most people would settle for familiarity.
Ultimately, I believe that frustration is a tool that God often uses to move our lives forward. I know for me that last week was a defining moment in my life. The conversation that I had with my mentor was a game changer. I walked away with clarity, strategy and the fortitude that I needed to make major life changes. Without that feeling of frustration, I would have probably remained stuck. Many of you reading this today are stuck and stagnant. You feel like your life is in a holding pattern and you cannot seem to make any progress. Trust me I am not telling you something that I read in a book. I am telling you personal experiences that I have lived in my life. Nobody likes to feel stuck. I have discovered that in those moments where I feel confined that I am being challenged to expand my capacity. That is why I am so grateful that I have mentors in my life. I do not need a bunch of yes people that tell me what I want to hear. Instead, I have made a conscious decision to surround myself with people that will always be honest with me and speak the absolute truth. You cannot live a next level life with old level relationships. Your inner circle should challenge you to unleash the limitless capacity within you. When I finished talking to my mentor, I was challenged and my capacity was expanded. My mind was stretched to a new paradigm. I walked away with new perspectives. More importantly, I was able to perceive new possibilities for my life. You need relationships around you that bring clarity and not confusion.
As you know, I have devoted my life to empowering people to fulfill purpose and maximize their greatest potential. It has been one of the greatest joys of my life. On the other hand, it is frustrating trying to help people that will not even acknowledge that they need help. Every single day of my life I hear from people all around the world. Many of them are attracted to my message and they have been impacted by my work. However, when it comes to making the investments that will transform their lives, I listen to these same individuals make excuses for why they cannot elevate their lives. It is heartbreaking to be pregnant with wisdom that some people will never draw from. The conversation with my mentor reminded me that I was born for more. I cannot allow myself to get frustrated with people that have settled for a life of frustration and defeat. Furthermore, I cannot waste energy on people that are not committed to excellence. One thing I have endeavored to do is to be world-class in everything that I do. I have not cut corners and produced half-hearted work. No, I have given myself fully to my assignment. I have made the investments and sacrifices that have earned me respect around the world. Therefore, I have no sympathy for people that want to take shortcuts to success. I have paid the price and earned a reputation as a highly respected thought leader. How committed are you to greatness? I want to let you know that you were born for more. However, the more will never manifest in your life without maturity, growth ,and development. Never be deceived into believing that success is automatic. Success is a process and without process your success is illegal. In an era where everyone is driven by competition and comparison, never forget that there is something unique that you bring to the world. You were not born to conform and blend in. You were born to shatter ceilings and break barriers in your generation. You do not get to more by living a mediocre life. You manifest the more by playing a bigger game. Stop burying the treasures that are within you. Right now I challenge you to unlock your treasures and bring uncommon value to the world. You have so much to offer the world. Do not settle for an ordinary life. Expand your capacity and manifest your extraordinary destiny.
In closing, I am ignited in a new way. I know my assignment and I know who I am called to. I will never again waste energy where there is no pursuit of excellence. I will not give another moment of my time to those that have settled for a mediocre life. Instead, I will pour into places where worth and value are celebrated. What I carry cannot be wasted in common places. I have paid too much of a price to settle for dishonor. I’m challenging you today to value the gifts that are on the inside of you. Surround yourself with people that understand your vision and discern your value. Find your tribe and watch the treasures in you start to emerge. Thank you to those of you that reached out to me on last week. I was touched by the kind messages. It is always great to know my work is making a difference in your life. My tribe is amazing and I appreciate each and every one of you. Never forget that you were born for more!
