Breaking Free!

As I write to you, I am coming off of a busy week of major breakthroughs and momentum. I hope that you had a great start to the second quarter of 2018. Personally, I have chosen to develop greater focus, sharpen my edge and eliminate every unnecessary activity from my schedule. I want to increase my productivity and make greater progress over the next three months. My first quarter was insanely busy and full. However, I am so proud of all the great things I was able to accomplish during the first three months of 2018. Establish your priorities and protect your focus. 2018 is YOUR year of victory!
Do you feel trapped in cycles? Are you frustrated and desperate to break a ceiling in your life? What will you do to break free? 2018 has been a great year already. However, I want to be totally honest with you. This year has already been filled with challenges and opposition. I’ve found myself having to make some really hard decisions about my life and business. I believe that we all face these decisions on the road to destiny. If you are not careful, you can start to buy into a lie that adversity should not be part of the journey to greatness. Some people even believe that adversity is a sign that you are on the wrong path. However, I know from years of experience that adversity is a master class that you must pass in order to be promoted to new realms of success. I have faced more adversity than you could imagine. My business has experienced turbulence, uncertainty ,and failure. It is challenging to be pregnant with a vision that often nobody can see the value of but you. It takes resilience and a strong resolve to push even in moments of great pressure. You have to be willing to stand if you want to succeed.
Many of you reading this right now can relate to what I just described. You feel like you are trapped in a cycle. In fact, you feel like you have lost time and opportunities. It almost feels like your life is going in reverse instead of forward. However, I am here to speak life to you today and let you know that you have the power to break the cycle. Nothing has the power to hold you hostage against your will. In other words, what you permit will persist in your life. You can keep being a product of circumstances or prisoner to the conditions in your life. Or you can make a decision that you are going to break the cycle. Most people fail to realize that cycles are constructed through choices. You can make a choice right now and reverse negative cycles in your life. Any cycle that you do not learn from has the power to constrain and cripple you. It is time for you to confront the patterns that have confined your potential.
I know what it is like to live under a ceiling. I spent a number of years being ruled by limitations. Unfortunately, during that time I set the bar low in my life. I had low expectations and I produced low results. Then one day I realized that nobody put those limitations on me. No, I was actually the one that created those limitations in my life. I decided to take my power back once and for all. Ultimately, you have the power to determine what is possible for your life. I started to see myself reaching my best ability and reaching my greatest potential. Undiscovered gifts and treasures started to emerge that I never even knew I possessed. I discovered that my limitations were self-imposed. That day I shattered a ceiling in my life and I stretched my capacity. You must stop buying into the lie that you are limited. You are not limited. You are just not discerning the limitless possibilities around you. Ceilings are meant to be shattered. I’ve turned my ceilings into catalysts to success and opportunity.
Breaking free sounds good in theory. However, not many people know what it really takes to break free. You have to get tired of being stuck, stagnant and reduced to a second class life. You have to get fed up with being frustrated and defeated. Breaking free is making a quality decision that no limitation or restriction will rob you of the opportunity to manifest greatness. Breaking free is deciding that your future is more important than your fears, dreams more important than your doubts, and your potential is too great to live in a prison. When you decide to break free you declare that destiny is your only option. Too many people are looking for an excuse to quit. It lets me know that they do not have a compelling vision. When you move from passion to obsession it changes everything about your life. Passion is not enough to carry you into your future. On the other hand, obsession will be the launching pad into overwhelming victory!
In closing, I am writing this week to provoke you. I almost did not write to you this week. However, someone really needs to grab ahold of these words. It is not over and it is not finished. God has greater things in store for you. Stop looking through the lens of your circumstances and look through the eye of faith. Every barrier can become a catalyst to breakthrough in your life. You need to find the thing you were created for. The thing you were created for will consume you. When you are consumed you will collide with your prophetic destiny. Get obsessed with God’s vision for your life. It’s time to break free!
