As I write to you, I am coming off a very hectic week. 2018 has started off very busy for me. However, I am grateful that I have had the energy to keep pushing. So many times we have a desire but we lack the drive to see that desire fulfilled. It is hard to believe that it is March. We are quickly approaching the end of the first quarter. Time truly waits for no man. I hope you are making progress on your goals and giving every single day of your life an assignment. If you follow my work, then you know I believe in seizing the power of moments and maximizing your potential. 2018 is the year to dream big, push your limits and manifest the greatness within you. It’s time to live your greatest life!
Are you longing for more? Do you have a desire to live a more meaningful and fulfilled life? How will you go deeper in 2018? I do not know about you but I am always longing for more in my life. When I say more I not speaking exclusively of materialistic things or even notoriety. More to me is a life of greater meaning and significance. I cannot think of anyone that does not desire more. Over the years, I have discovered that more is not about the accumulation of possessions. The more that we truly seek is to awaken to purpose. People all over the world are longing to discover the thing that they were born for. It is a spiritual journey and not many people understand that. We think that a bigger home and fancy vehicles will bring us happiness and joy. However, possessions cannot make you happy. The peace that you seek only comes from being connected to the Prince of Peace. As you know, it is often hard for us as human beings to articulate our desires. Therefore, we think more stuff will satisfy our need for significance. On the contrary, only a deep spiritual life will bring you true significance. It is a secret I discovered more than twenty years ago and it changed my life forever. I am proud of my faith and it is not something that I hide. Some people have suggested over the years that I not be so vocal about my faith. My platform is quite massive and I have been so blessed to reach people from all walks of life. Ultimately, the thing that has attracted people to me is my faith. Some will say that they connect because of my message or my kindness. However, at the end of the day, my faith infuses everything that I do. It is impossible to separate my faith from my message.
Truthfully, I cannot think of a single person that does not desire a more meaningful and fulfilled life. You may not know what to call it or how to articulate it. However, deep down inside you have an insatiable desire to do more and become more. It is the same feeling I have experienced in my own life. I knew that I was not happy and I was miserable. I was searching for peace in a world that is filled with plasticity. I looked to other people for validation and affirmation. I thought I could find it in status and stuff. I later discovered that the significance I was looking for could only be found in embracing a life of higher standards. Possessions cannot bring you joy. Your position will never make you feel valuable. You will never discover a rich and meaningful life until you first establish a strong spiritual foundation. I talk to people every day that are unhappy. They wear the mask and they play the role. However, I am advanced enough to know what is going on in the soul of a man. To the discerning eye, the soul cannot be disguised. It is one of the reasons that people are so attracted to my work. They do not just read my books. They consume my material because they contain answers to so many of life's greatest questions. You cannot link your joy to what you do or what you have. Your true power lies in what you possess on the inside. More importantly, who you possess on the inside. A man without a strong spiritual foundation will fail. You will experience great highs and overwhelming lows. Success without a strong spiritual foundation is always short lived. Faith is the pillar that empowers you to build your life on a firm foundation.
I believe with all my heart that 2018 is your year to go deeper. This is a word that I hear people throw around so loosely today. Most people have no clue what deeper means. Deeper means to go beyond the surface. Deeper is having the audacity to leave the shores of safety and to launch out into a life of significance and power. Deeper is never discovered on the external. Deeper is discovered internally. Essentially, deeper is the soul cry within every human being for true significance to converge. It is when you get tired of the status quo. Deeper happens when you dare to remove the mask and realize that you were born for so much more. One of the greatest decisions you can ever make in your life is to go deeper. You were not created to live a shallow life. You were created to live in the deep. Never forget that you cannot get to deeper without first having some depth. You cannot build your life on the shallow. You must build your life on substance. Everything you establish on a false foundation will fail. However, what you build on truth is timeless. Truth is the only building material that is indestructible.
In closing, I have so much more I could say to you about living a deeper life. However, I believe that I have shared enough for you to get the gist. You can make all the affirmations in the world. At some point, you have to stop simply affirming and start taking action to live the life of your dreams. Deeper is the product of intentional investment. You must see yourself reaching your best potential. More importantly, you must take a personal stake in paying the price to produce a better life. Hopes and dreams must be fueled by hard work and dedication. When you dare to do the inner work you discover an infinite world of possibilities. You were made for more. Stop being mediocre and start creating a masterpiece. Now is the time to go deeper!
