Never Give Up!

Well, we are fastly approaching the end of January. I hope you are on track with your goals and experiencing great success. As for me, I am very focused right now. I have made it my duty to eliminate distractions, concentrate and commit myself to three main goals this year. I am already halfway through the first of the goals. However, I am working on my strategy to ensure that the other two are accomplished. I believe 2018 is the year to play a bigger game. You were not created to stay small. You have been created for success and prosperity. Make this the year that you stop doing what is convenient and commit to greatness. 2018 is going to be an epic year!

Are you feeling hopeless? Have you been thinking about quitting? Will you dare to commit to never give up? The first few weeks of the year everybody is motivated. We have the adrenaline going and we are filled with excitement. Many have their resolutions written out and they are amped. However, that excitement is short-lived and most people slip back into the same bad habits and old routines. The truth is that you cannot rely on emotion to change your life. You only change your life with new commitments. Most people do not like to make commitments because they force them out of their comfort zones. I have discovered on the journey that you can live a comfortable life or you can live an extraordinary life. Ultimately, you decide what dimension you live from. Good intentions and well wishes will never improve your life. If you want to make 2018 your greatest year ever, then I challenge you to commit yourself to your goals. You do not live your life based on how you feel. You are to live your life based on disciplines and successful habits. It is important for you to understand that all great achievements come on the heels of great adversity. Devote yourself to greatness in 2018.

Some of you are already feeling hopeless. You have been blessed with a brand new cycle. You have been given 365 new opportunities to create something incredible with your life. However, some of you are still living in the devastation and disappointments of 2017. It is difficult to create a new chapter when you are still crippled by an old cycle. The reality is that you cannot undo what has already been done. The past is the past. However, you are the architect of your future. You are the author of your own life story. Stop allowing conditions and contradictions to write the chapters of your story. The moments of 2017 can never be recaptured. However, the moments of 2018 are yet to be written. You never write new chapters without healing old wounds. 2018 is the year that you need to change the narrative about your life. You have lived in a state of pity and powerlessness long enough. This is the year that you live in a state of peace and take your personal power back. Honor the power of every moment and manifest your greatest potential. Hopelessness is often the product of a life without vision. It is time for you to get a new vision for your life. Discouragement will rule the life of an individual that lacks direction.

You need to stop entertaining the idea of quitting. Trust me, I know a great deal about frustration and failure. If you have read my autobiography, then you know that I have faced disappointment, tragedy ,and failure more than you could ever imagine. I have wanted to quit, give up and totally abandon my purpose. However, when you understand what you were born for quitting is no longer an option for you. Over and over again I have been reminded that my life is larger than my limits. God has reassured me so many times that my calling is greater than any crisis. I’ve had nights where I have cried myself to sleep. I have been under so much pressure until I thought I was going to have a breakdown. However, each time I discovered new breakthroughs in my life. Greatness is the ability to keep going when you have every opportunity to quit. You have to understand that your destination is more important than any delay that arises in your life. I talk to people every day that are going through major challenges. However, I am often disturbed by what I see. Too many people give up at the first sign of discomfort or disappointment. This shows me that a person was not really committed to greatness. You will either find the will to win or a reason to give up. I have decided to find the will to win. The measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of great triumph. The true measure of a man is revealed in how he handles adversity. Pressure is often the thing that promotes or demotes us.

Honestly, I am no different than you. The thing that separates me from most people is that I made a decision that I would never give up. When doors slammed in my face I refused to quit. When I experienced betrayal in life and business I kept going. When my company almost collapsed I pushed harder. When people laughed at me and criticized me I silenced them by remaining focused. The greatest decision you can ever make is the decision to fulfill your prophetic destiny. When you choose destiny, heaven and earth will conspire to prosper you. When you choose destiny, the pieces of your prophetic puzzle will come together. You can run but you cannot hide. Nobody can fulfill your destiny but you. The road will not be easy and you will be met with great opposition. However, if you refuse to quit then you will reach your destiny. There is no misery like knowing you were created for a bigger mission but refusing to fulfill it. That is the number one reason so many people are frustrated today. They are chasing an alternative because they refuse to fulfill the assignment. You need to cooperate with the process. The process will birth you into prophetic destiny. You cannot manipulate destiny. You have to mature into destiny. When you mature you can do the thing that you were made for. Giving up is an enemy to growth and a barrier to manifesting your greatness.

In closing, 2018 can be a different year for you. Stop repeating cycles and experiencing frustration and failure. This year make a decision that quitting is not an option for you. Stop disengaging life just because you are disappointed or because you encounter difficulty. Nobody promised you an easy life. However, if you will dare to never give up, you can live an extraordinary life. Nobody remembers a quitter. Quitters have never been remembered throughout history. However, everyone remembers the heroes and the courageous ones. The world will remember you when you push your limits, defy the odds and redefine what is possible. 2018 is your year to show the world what you are made of. You were not created to worry, fear or live in defeat. You were born to win. Stand in your greatness and never give up!
