Own Your Greatness!

Well, hopefully, the first week of 2018 was a great one for you. Personally, it was a very productive but busy week for me. I spent an incredible amount of time honing in on my goals and clarifying my action steps. I have had a number of conversations with people over the last week and I can sense great optimism. While I am not against being optimistic, too many people think that positivity is going to produce results in 2018. It will take more than happy thoughts and affirmations. You must develop a plan and dedicate yourself to your goals in 2018. Sadly, in a few weeks, most people will abandon their resolutions and return to business as usual. Next year they will be in the same place with no growth and no results in their lives. You have to get tired of making promises but not making progress. Let 2018 be the year that you make a change in your life!
Do you believe that you were been born for greatness? Are you owning your greatness? How will you unleash the greatness on the inside of you? As I stated on last week, everything about my life is shifting in 2018. I am no longer a coach and I no longer operate in the coaching space. 2018 is the year that I align with my true assignment. Ministry is my calling and it is the thing that I am devoting myself to in 2018. If you follow my work, then you know that I have had a ministry focus for years. However, it is now time for me to truly embrace my prophetic destiny and do what I was born to do. I tried to operate in the safe zone and call myself a coach. I knew that highlighting ministry would cause some controversy and also bring criticism. The interesting thing is that most people embraced the ministry aspect of my work years ago. 2017 was the year that I finally developed the courage to make a shift. If you do not believe you were born for greatness then you need to find out why. Every human being on this planet was born for greatness. You were not born to play small and die. You were born for significance and it is time to start living up to the potential that is on the inside of you.
I do not want you to just get excited about a new year. I want you to make a decision to own 2018. What does it mean to own 2018? It means that you should give yourself wholeheartedly to your vision, goals, and dreams. This is the year that you do not accept no for an answer. 2018 is the year that you challenge yourself to go further and fight for your dreams. Owning this year will require you to step outside of your comfort zone. If you want to live like no one else, then you must do uncommon things. Owning 2018 will require you to break free from fear, timidity, and containment. You cannot own 2018 without demanding more for your life. I have discovered that more is the product of maturity. You cannot mature without making up your mind that nothing will stop you from manifesting your greatest life. As long as you are passive and inactive you will live a mediocre life. Owning 2018 means dominating every moment, growing and evolving as a person and being positioned to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. After all, the possibilities of your life are defined by your pursuit.
Dare to unleash the greatness on the inside of you. You cannot benefit the world until you play a bigger game. It is scary when you are being stretched. However, I have discovered that you cannot produce significance without being stretched. The world wants to contain you. You have unlimited capacity and unrealized potential on the inside. What is in you cannot get out without opposition. We run from the very things that are being used to release the greatness on the inside of us. Since I was a child I knew that a global prophetic mandate was on my life. I was frustrated because I was trying to manipulate the course of my life. This journey has taught me that it is offensive to offer God anything less than what He ordered. I could hide out in positivity and coaching but deep down inside I knew that I had to embrace this prophetic call. I do not know what your assignment is but deep down inside you know. You can run but you cannot hide. A demand is being made on the greatness inside of you. You will be unhappy and unfulfilled until you yield to the thing that you were born for. Many of you reading this know exactly what I am talking about. You are drawn to my words and my message. You are not drawn to my work simply because it is positive or inspiring. You are drawn to my work because it is prophetic and resonates deep down in your soul. You know that you were born for more. Every time you read my words or listen to me speak you find yourself stirred to embrace your calling and fulfill your prophetic destiny. Part of my assignment is to unlock the treasures in you so you can unleash your greatness on the world.
In closing, I believe with all my heart that 2018 is a monumental year. I want to take a moment and say thank you to those of you that have challenged me and provoked me to embrace my prophetic mandate. I am grateful that I did not settle for the convenient box of coaching or motivational speaking. JSI is so much more than that. It is a prophetic-edge ministry called to bring reformation and awakening to the world. My life is not the same and my work will never look the same. I decided to own my greatness and it is time for you to do the same. Stop playing it safe and dare to do what you were born to do. 2018 is the year that you stop living comfortable and you make the decision to live on the edge. You do not conquer new lands in your comfort zone. New frontiers will require bold new acts of faith. Accept the challenge and own your greatness!
