First of all, I want to take a moment and wish all of you a Merry Christmas! It is hard to believe that Christmas is here once again. I hope that today is special for you and your family. I am enjoying my family and reflecting on the significance of this season. Today I challenge you to spend quality time with family. Cherish every moment and celebrate your loved ones. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year. I have always loved Christmas and this is such a special season. Many attempts have been made to censor Christmas. However, it is a special day that can never ever be erased.

Do you believe in miracles? Are you expecting miracles? What Christmas miracles will you see manifest this year? I am a believer in miracles. Miracles are supernatural moments where suddenlies manifest in your life. In other words, a miracle is a supernatural occurrence that defies logic and challenges natural laws. Unfortunately, we live in a culture and society that has shunned the miraculous. Many in the world today have embraced a spirit of skepticism and cynicism. Too often we expect the worst and we lack the audacity to believe for the impossible. I believe in miracles because I have seen so many miracles in my own life. I do not have the time or space to tell you about all the miracles that have occurred in my own life. My life and my story is nothing short of miraculous. I dare you to stop settling for mediocrity and start believing for the miraculous!

Expectation is the magnetic force that attracts miracles into your world. Your life is simply an expression of your expectations. Sadly, most people do not expect very much for their lives. They expect to live, pay bills and die. While this may be the reality for some people, you do not have to settle for this reality. Expectation births the miraculous. When you raise your expectations you raise the possibilities of what your life can become. I challenge you today to see yourself whole, victorious, flourishing and experiencing a life of lavish abundance. More importantly, see yourself reaching your best potential and unleashing the greatness on the inside of you. Refuse to allow a lack of expectation to limit your existence. Expectation is living with the paradigm that you have a lot to live for and a lot to look forward to. Expectation always elevates your life.

Christmas is always a season of miracles. As you know, I am a Christian and the Christmas story is vital to my faith. I believe that the birth of Jesus Christ is what shapes the life and experiences of believers. The immaculate conception was nothing short of miraculous. It is always amazing to think of how a son was born to Mary. However, this same child would one day save the world. Jesus Christ lived a miraculous life. Jesus Christ chose to become the sacrifice for the freedom of humanity. The seed of His life became the gift that would liberate mankind and transform the world. Jesus was much more than a good man or a prophet. Jesus Christ was the Son of God. He was the most revolutionary leader to ever walk this planet and today is a celebration of His life. I could go on for days talking about the leadership and impact of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, more than two thousand years later we are still talking about the life of this incredible leader. Jesus was born with a purpose and that purpose was the redemption of humanity.

As you gather around the tree today, I want to remind you that Jesus is the reason for the season. The world has commercialized this day. The emphasis has been taken off of Jesus. Everyone is consumed with gift giving and celebrations. However, I want to remind you to take a moment and wish Jesus Christ a happy birthday. Thank Him for entering human history and rewriting the story of generations to come. Christmas is not about what we can get. This holiday is about what we can give. Christmas is not about selfishness or stinginess. Christmas is about sacrifice and service to humanity. Without Jesus Christ, there is no Christmas. This day is about celebrating the birth of the savior of the world. The thing I love most about Christmas is when I see people that have really tapped into the spirit of this holiday. I love to see people giving to the less fortunate, serving meals to the homeless and performing random acts of kindness for complete strangers. My family instilled in me early the importance of giving back no matter what stage of life you are in. The reality is that we all have something to give. When we give we become great expressions of love in the world.

In closing, I have so much more I could say to you. However, I hope that you have the most amazing Christmas ever. You may not have gotten everything on your list and that is okay. Celebrate the gift of life today and the fact that you are surrounded by family and friends that love you. One of the greatest discoveries you will ever make is that God is everything you will ever need. Gifts will not make you happy and people will not bring you joy. You will never find satisfaction in substitutes. True joy can only be found in the divine source. I hope you will realize how much you have to give this year. My wish for you is for peace and goodwill in every area of your life. Merry Christmas!
