From Dream to Destiny!

As I write to you, I am coming off of another incredible week. I have been at a conference most of the week and it has been insightful. I have learned so much and I know that I have been shifted to another place. It is so important to place yourself in environments that energize and empower you to embrace new heights of success. We live in a generation that desires greatness. However, very few people are willing to devote themselves to greatness. Devotion is the catalyst to manifesting your destiny. No matter how big your plans are, you will never actualize those plans without devotion.

Do you have a dream? What is the cost of achieving your dream? How will you devote yourself to your dream? I talk to people all the time that make big plans for their lives. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with making plans. However, I have discovered in my own life that plans cannot take priority over God’s purpose for your life. Often times we waste time and energy planning out every detail of our lives. Unfortunately, most people never take time to consider that their plans may not be what God has purposed for their lives. I believe that you should make plans and have goals for your life. You should map out what you want to do and how you are going to get there. On the other hand, never create any plans without consulting God. When you dare to include the divine in your plans you start to live a supernatural life.

I remember years ago having all of these grand plans for my life. The plans were great and I had everything mapped out exactly how I wanted my life to go. Over time, I came to the realization that God had a totally different plan for my life. I noticed that the more I moved in the direction of my own plans the more pain and dissatisfaction I felt. It was puzzling to me why the direction of my life did not correspond with my desires. Finally, one day as I spent time in prayer and reflection I had an epiphany. I discovered that any plan that is not in alignment with the divine plan for my life will produce dissatisfaction and disappointment. More importantly, I discovered that my greatest pursuit must be God’s plan for my life. This is a reality that not many people are willing to come to terms with. You do not get to choose God’s plan for your life; however, you can make the decision to cooperate with the divine plan for your life.

I am not sure that many people understand the cost of achieving a dream. We get so fascinated with the possibility of greatness. On the other hand, we fail to realize the price that it takes to produce greatness in life. We want to spend ten hours scrolling our phones but we want to be masters and titans of industry. We want to put in little preparation and perform at a high level. We want to spend all night in front of the television but we want to be world shakers and history makers. I have to be very honest with you. None of those things will produce mastery in your life. Idleness never improves your life. Personally, I can say without a doubt that my investments have created my influence. My willingness to do what others refuse to has created remarkable results in my life. Hope is not a valid seed for harvest. Hard work is the only legal seed that will produce a harvest of success and prosperity in your life.

Everything I have shared with you up until this point has been important. However, there is one thing that is most important to your success. When I open my mouth people listen. God has given me incredible influence in the lives of people all around the world. People eagerly read my books, purchase my teachings and attend my live events. I am not saying this to brag. I am saying this because it is obvious that not every person has influence. In my lifetime, I have mastered the law of devotion. I believe that devotion is the factor that will distinguish you in the world. I did not waste countless hours sitting in front of the television. Instead, I was reading, learning and growing to be world-class at what I do. Some have called me extreme but I have pursued excellence. My results have earned me a reputation that is respected around the world. One of the greatest decisions I ever made was to not choose the easy road. Easy will never produce an exceptional life. Concentration and commitment will produce a cutting-edge life.

In closing, I have so much more I could share with you about the journey to success. However, I will write more about this topic in the future. I think you get the point about the cost of realizing your dreams. Most people will die with their dreams. Very few are willing to devote themselves to the fulfillment of their dreams. I am not content just having a dream. I have made a decision to live the life of my dreams. If you want to go from dream to destiny, then devotion is a critical key that you must master. It is safe to say that most dreams are not realized in a single day. More importantly, you must understand that your daily decisions are deciding the life or death of your dreams. I hope you will choose wisely and wholeheartedly devote yourself to your dreams. It’s time to move from dream to destiny!
