As I write to you this week, I am reflecting on the last nine months. In just a few days we will be ending the third quarter. It is hard to believe that we are coming to the end of 2017. One of the things that I have learned over the years is that time waits on no man. You have to live every single day of your life with purpose and intention. If you do not make your moments count misery will define your cycles. Now is a good time to evaluate your productivity over the last three months. Be honest about where you are and what you have truly accomplished. Dishonesty might make you feel better. However, it will never empower you to reach the next dimension. Do not go into the last week of this quarter depressed. Develop the determination that you are going to stay committed to your vision and secure the victory as you end the third quarter. Winning cannot just be something that you do. You must realize that you were born to win!
Are you living a winning life? Or have you slipped into cycles of frustration and failure? Do you understand that you were born to win? Sometimes we go through so much in our lives that we forget we are winners. Life can send so many hurdles that you start living from a place of hopelessness. While everyone will not be honest, I have had moments in my life where I experienced so much defeat that I almost forgot winning was possible. I slipped into a state where I really did not expect anything good to happen. It seemed as if all the news I was getting was bad. It was a dark and disappointing time in my life. Unfortunately, I lacked the ability to see my way out or to see my way to the other side. Adversity will try to make you accept that failure is final in your life. However, when you understand your assignment you realize that failure is not forever. If you can keep your focus in the fire you will step into your future.
I’m sure some of you find that hard to believe. You are accustomed to me being positive and powerful. Everyone sees me as a powerful thinker and motivator. However, I have not always been the person that you see today. I know what it is like to go through the wilderness. More importantly, I know what it is like to be weary. I am empathetic to human suffering because I have not lost my ability to relate. I have had some low moments in my life. Thankfully, I made it through those seasons stronger. Now I am here to remind you that trouble will not last. One of the truths that have anchored my life for more than twenty years is that truth is the only thing that will last. Do not get absorbed in the details of your situation. Maturity is understanding that your circumstance is subject to change. When you understand that your circumstance is subject to change, you will stop living as a slave to the conditions of your life.
You may be weary, wounded and worn but you are still an overcomer. The powerful thing about my life is that I live my message. Authenticity is not just preaching a truth but practicing the truth. I do not just write words every week to make you feel good about your life. No, I write to you every week because I am living proof that the message of empowerment works. Furthermore, I have heard countless stories of people around the world that attest to the fact that my message is authentic. The danger in this positive thinking movement is that it gives people false hope. You can think positive and make positive affirmations and still not experience a victorious life. I’ve discovered that buried in our trials are the truths that transform us and empower us to become our greatest selves. The very thing we run from is the very thing that will usher us into the next realm of living. There is a winner is you just waiting to be awakened!
If you have followed my work, then you know that I believe that there is greatness in every human being on this planet. It does not matter who you are or where you come from. God has planted a seed of greatness on the inside of you. The cultivation of that seed is your responsibility. In addition, you must understand that crisis is often the tool that God uses to cultivate the greatness on the inside of you. You need to stop looking for the easy way and instead seek the excellent way. You have to be willing to cooperate with the process if you want to collide with prophetic destiny. The winds may blow and the waves may be fierce. However, if you refuse to fear and release the force of faith, I guarantee you that the winner in you will emerge. Winning is not a magical formula. Winning is a mentality that will empower you to master every challenge in your life. It takes a winning mindset to craft winning moments. Victory begins in your mind!
In closing, you have to excuse me because I am really excited right now. Last week I hosted an amazing Empowerment Call and people from all over the world tuned in. I spoke at length about how to create victory in your life. Earlier in the quarter, I gave you a challenge. It was a productivity challenge to get more done every single day. I hope you took me up on the challenge and that you are producing extraordinary results in your life. The third quarter is now ending and we cannot change what has already been done. Learn from your mistakes, remove the limits from your mind and live fully in each moment. You may not like the results you have produced. However, you can always realign and achieve new possibilities for your life. Your days of losing are coming to an end. You were born to win!
