First of all, I want to take a moment and thank everyone for the outpouring of love that was shown to me on my birthday. I was overwhelmed at the kind words and well wishes that poured in from all over the world. It’s such an honor to do life with you. More importantly, it’s humbling to know that my life and work have made such a profound difference in the lives of people all over the world. I’m excited about the next era of JSI and the next chapter of my life. Stay tuned because lots of new developments are coming. My birthday was great and I enjoyed it with family and friends. Now it is time to get back focused on the important work of empowering the world!

Are you playing a small game? Have you accepted a life of limitations and barriers? When will you start living a bigger life? I believe that now more than ever it is time for you to stop playing small. Playing it safe will never produce significance in your life. You can live in comfort or you can be a change agent. We have grand and lofty dreams. However, the moment we encounter difficulty we abandon our dreams and abort our destinies. Nobody promised that the road would be easy. I do not have enough time to tell you every adversity I have faced on the road to greatness. I’ve had so many moments where I wanted to give up and throw in the towel. However, I knew something greater was on the line and I kept going. You cannot afford to stop just because conditions do not look favorable. Everything will not be perfect but you must embrace your purpose. If you are not willing to press towards your higher calling, I can assure you that pressure and circumstances will hijack the cycles of your life.

For a long time, I chose the safe route. I decided to be reserved and restricted. However, one day I raised the expectations for my life and I refused to settle for easy anymore. I’ve discovered that you cannot live big if you lack bravery. It takes courage to step out into the unknown. You have to be fearless to move beyond the familiar. In fact, if I had known how much courage it was going to take I would probably have never committed to greatness. I’ve been a trailblazer in many ways. While that sounds good, being a trailblazer can be intimidating. When you are doing what has never been done before you do not have any road maps to get you there. In addition, everyone is watching you and critics are expecting you to fail. To live a bigger life it takes a great deal of commitment, focus, and mental fortitude. You have to be persuaded that nothing will stand in the way of your progress. Without persuasion, you will never persist and thrive. You cannot abandon your assignment when it has consumed you.

This is a big week for me. This Friday, August 25, 2017, at 9 AM I will be appearing on WBTV. I will be interviewed on Morning Break. I’ll be discussing my new book Chosen: Strategies for Revolutionary Leadership. It’s a big moment in my life and my business. I’m so honored to have this opportunity to share my message on a larger platform. I hope you will have an opportunity to tune in to the interview. We will include a link at the bottom of this newsletter. Also, we will include a link on next week with the full interview. Every day I am making a decision to play a bigger game. Doors continue to open in my life and I am grateful. I remember when no doors were opening and nobody knew my name. I remember the days I wondered if JSI would remain in operation. However, my decision to live big has brought me to where I am today. In order to live big, you have to keep pushing your limits. In other words, you should never be satisfied with a lack of momentum or results in your life. You should challenge yourself to go further, do more and produce more. Your capacity cannot expand in a place of comfort. Discomfort is the only way you get promoted to the next dimension. Many people say they want to live at the next level. However, if you never push your limits new possibilities cannot emerge in your life. Furthermore, old thinking will never open new doors. Many times the thing that is robbing you of more is an unrenewed mind. Learning always lifts you into a new realm of living. When you renew your mind you are empowered to reclaim your moments. It is impossible to live a bigger life with a limited belief system. Challenge your mindset and create new moments in your life!

In closing, I am so excited about the next chapter of my life. One thing I am certain of is that this chapter of my life will be even better than the last chapter. I’m not just speaking from a place of hope. No, I have a clear plan that will produce greater results in my life. I’ve crossed into a new decade but that means nothing if I do not have direction. If you do not consciously design your life circumstances will define your life for you. Stop talking about what you are going to do and start doing it. We waste a lot of time with idle words but never make the investment in doing the work. If you want to live like no one else then you have to commit like no one else. I’ve discovered that your life does not change through convenience. Your life only changes through commitment. Ultimately, you live at the level of your commitment. The direction of your life is being determined by your disciplines. It’s time to commit to living a bigger life!
