As I write to you this week, I am coming off of a busy week of planning, strategizing and big adjustments in my life and business. JSI is in the middle of a major restructuring at the moment. I am working closely with advisors and mentors and defining the next era of this vision. If you were not able to join us on Thursday Night, you missed an amazing night of life-changing information. It was one of the most insightful teachings I have ever done and the feedback has been phenomenal. Make plans to join us next month for An Unforgettable Night of Empowerment. Stay focused on your goals, eliminate distractions and create new possibilities. Never forget that you are responsible for your success!

What contribution will you make to the world? How are you leveraging your difference? Are you a game changer? We are living in a time where many people are playing on words. We like to sound important and feel significant. However, there is a big difference between looking important and making an impact. I talk to people all the time that desire to be influencers but do not have the dedication to make an impact. Many people look at my life today and marvel at the things that I have been so fortunate to accomplish. In fact, some people think that revolution is easily replicable. You may admire the achievements of others but it takes more than admiration to be a catalyst of change. If you want to make a massive impact in the world around you, you have to first make the decision to elevate your game. In other words, you have to sharpen your edge and master your craft if you want to stand out in the world today. People do not marvel at mediocrity and broken promises. The world marvels at mastery and not many people are willing to devote themselves to mastery.

I’m grateful that I have become an influencer with a platform that reaches people all over the world. However, I did not set out to be an influencer. When I started out years ago I simply wanted to touch lives through my work. That sincere desire has taken me places I never dreamed possible. Stop trying to be an influencer and instead seek to be a person of substance. People can feel when your message is authentic and when it is artificial. The reason I have outlasted so many over the years is because I have stayed true to my message and my mission. I have not used my influence to manipulate or deceive people. Instead, I have used my platform to empower and elevate the lives of people all around the world. You have to be driven by more than popularity and power. At the end of the day, you must be grounded in fundamental principles. Those principles will protect you as you rise to new heights of success.

In order to become a game changer, you must first become a better version of yourself. My brand is known for wisdom. I hear from people all over the world every single day. People recognize the difference and they appreciate the wisdom that I offer. While I am grateful for what my brand has become, I did not set out to build a great brand. No, I set out to bring my best to the world. As a result, I have been able to build a brand that resonates with people all around the world. You will never become a game changer without first making a commitment to grow. You cannot give the world information without impartation. Words without experience carry no power. On the other hand, wisdom resonates and will cause you to be highly respected in your field. We are living in a generation that wants great influence without substance. When you give a platform to someone without substance you set them up for failure. Platforms are not for fame. Platforms are for bringing freedom to the lives of others. Changing the game starts with changing yourself. You cannot offer the world what you have not overcome.

In closing, I believe that every human being was created to be a game changer. It is important to understand that you cannot change the game without first elevating your own game. You cannot serve the world until you are first willing to stretch. People are listening not to be impressed but to be impacted. Take your calling seriously and perfect your craft. In everything that you do I challenge you to be purposeful and passionate. I do not believe in doing anything half-heartedly. If you have followed my work for any length of time, then you know I believe in giving my all to everything that I do. This is a philosophy that I live by. I do not just want my work to be good. Ultimately, I want to be known as a game changer that made a difference in my lifetime and generation. I dare you to stop being average and become a game changer!
