Yes, You Can!

After another really busy week, I can truly say that my excitement continues to build. I have been busy promoting my latest project. As you know, I just released my brand-new book Chosen: Strategies for Revolutionary Leadership. I believe it is one of the most important books I have ever written. This book is really about legacy and changing the trajectory of leadership for generations to come. I want to sincerely thank all of you that have already supported the book. It’s a timely book for where we are in the world and I know it is going to make a difference in the lives of so many people. It is hard to believe that we have crossed over into the month of June. I hope you are executing on your goals and living each moment with intention.

Do you know what is possible for your life? Are you a believer in possibilities? What have you been afraid to say yes to? As I was writing my latest book, I faced the greatest opposition I have ever faced in my life. For the first time in a long time, the writing process was not going well. I was struggling to construct sentences and connect ideas. It just seemed like nothing was flowing or coming together. However, I finally got in a flow and I was able to finish the book. This is my first book deal and I am very excited about that. On the other hand, there is so much that comes with a book deal. It was challenging to set a release date. Also, we ran into challenges with other aspects of the book. The more I thought about it the more stressed I became. It was a battle but I was trying to remain focused. It is so important for you to know what is possible for your life. Sometimes possibilities are the only thing that keeps you from surrendering to the pressure. It was knowing what is possible and maintaining perspective that helped me to push through that season. As a result, you are now able to see the final product.

One thing I learned about success years ago is that it starts with a decision. If you have followed my work, then you know I often talk about the power of decisions in manifesting your destiny. The first decision you will have to make is the decision to say yes to success. In other words, you must say yes to the development, disciplines and depth that comes with success. Also, I learned that what you say yes to will automatically determine what you say no to. Greatness is the ability to say no to excuses, mediocrity and distractions. So many people in the world today say that they want success. However, I don’t know many people that are willing to say yes to creating a life of success. You have to stop telling yourself what you cannot do and start telling yourself what you can do. In fact, I can remember many times on my journey feeling incapable and unqualified to do certain things. Now I look back and laugh at the things I said I could not do. I never imagined I could write one book. To think that I have written six is mind blowing. I want you to understand that you will be faced with adversity. However, do not allow adversity to prevent you from saying yes to your destiny.

In closing, I believe that you are destined to do great things with your life. It’s time to end cycles of fear and inadequacy. When you say yes, you take one giant leap towards greatness in your life. However, when you say no, you take one giant step back from greatness in your life. Stop dismissing opportunities because you are afraid and feeling inadequate. The journey to greatness starts with a decision to say yes. You have to be willing to say yes even when all the pieces do not seem to be coming together. Yes does not wait for perfection. Yes simply means that you will cooperate with the process. You are reading these words because I made a decision to say yes. People around the world enjoy my products because I said yes to greatness. Who in the world is waiting for you to say yes? Do not allow frustration to make you forfeit greatness in your life. Yes, you can succeed and live the life of your dreams. More importantly, I took my commitment to the next level. Yes, I can live my dreams and I will exhaust my greatness. When you declare what you can and will do, everything in your world will shift ensuring that the win is secured. Say yes to your uncommon future!
