As I write to you, I am still running on adrenaline. It has been another really busy week for me. I am super excited about all the new doors that are opening and all the amazing new relationships that are entering my life. It is truly an amazing time and I am so thankful for the opportunities. As you know, I just released my sixth book Chosen: Strategies for Revolutionary Leadership. Every book I write is exciting. However, there is something so special about this book. Leadership is very important to me. In fact, it has been important to me for a long time. I am so grateful for the incredible platform and influence that I have been given around the world. This book gives me the opportunity to share timeless wisdom and powerful insights for transforming leadership in the twenty-first century. I hope you will get a copy of this book and I want to take a moment and thank everyone that has supported the book already. I believe that it has never been more important to know your purpose and to live in the center of your call.
Are you ready to change your life? Do you have the audacity to alter the course of your life? What price are you willing to pay to see change produced in your life? Honestly, everybody is always talking about change. In fact, I hear the phrase so much that it sounds like a broken record. You can live in the realm of hope or live in the realm of manifestation. However, I have discovered that you cannot live in both. One day I got tired of where I was and I made the decision to transform my life. Change is never easy but it is the only way you will ever elevate your life. You can keep sitting back and talking about how bad your life is. Or you can make the shift and create a better life. The reality is that you are the conductor that holds the power to orchestrate change in your life. The course of your life is yours to command. You have the power to create a new cycle of success and victory for your life!
When I learned that I was the conductor of change in my own life, it produced a big shift and radical transformation. I learned that no contradiction, condition or circumstance had the power to control my life. In that moment, I realized that I possessed the instruments for changing my life. It is easy to blame circumstances and challenges for where you are in life. However, it takes maturity to be willing to get to the root of why you are not producing results in your life. Denial is an enemy to development. In order to change your life, it starts with a decision. You must decide to leave the comfort of mediocrity and pay the cost for more. You must decide that your current circumstance is not conducive with the life that you intend to create. You must decide that you will sow today for what you desire to see tomorrow. Change is always birthed out of a decision. Indecision will always create an inconsistent, ineffective and inferior life. You have to decide if you are willing to leave where you are to design the life that you have always wanted. Remember you will never create a life that you lack the courage to pursue.
In closing, I believe that you have the capacity to change your life. It all starts with a decision. However, you cannot just stop with a decision. You have to take decisive action in the direction of your destiny. Also, you have to understand that you will be inconvenienced and uncomfortable. Nothing grows in your comfort zone. Be willing to stretch to create a life of success and significance. Something you do today will determine where you stand tomorrow. Do not waste today and expect it to reward you tomorrow. I talk to people every day that have good intentions and big dreams. However, I know that many of them will never realize their dreams. You cannot just talk about the future you want to create. You must have the fortitude to create real and lasting change!
