Fulfill Your Destiny!

As I write to you, I am coming off of an amazing week of momentum. As you know, on last week I released my sixth book Chosen: Strategies for Revolutionary Leadership. I hope you have already gotten your copy and that you are getting lots of value from this latest resource. It’s a big moment for me and for JSI. Over the next couple of months, I will be promoting the book on various platforms and sharing this important message with leaders around the world. I believe that this message is so timely. On my Empowerment Call last week I talked about the importance of shifting the narrative around leadership. Also, I defined what effective leadership models will look like in this era. It was an amazing night of empowerment and impartation. I believe we are at a critical moment in history. Now more than ever before you must know your function and fulfill the call that is on your life. There is no more time to waste!
What is your destiny? How focused are you on your destiny? Will you have the courage to fulfill your destiny? I’ve written numerous books now and spoken on a myriad of different subjects. However, this moment is very different for me. God has given me very specific instructions and strategies to share with the world at this time. There is an urgency to speak with intention and to make a global impact. In fact, I have been saying that this is more than a book. This is a call to change that leaders must accept in this era. Many have been deceived into believing that we have a lot of time. However, the reality is that you do not have as much time as you think. The death of a close family friend a few weeks ago reminded me of how precious life is. I was challenged to be more intentional, purposeful and impactful in everything that I do. Nobody can tell you what your destiny is. I can point you in the direction of it but I cannot tell you what it is. Only you have the power to fulfill your destiny. You have to stop waiting for the perfect time. Understand that you must seize the power of the moment if you want to reach your full potential and rob the grave of your greatness. It all starts with you!
Your destiny cannot be left up to chance. I am disturbed by what I see in the world today. So many people are just sitting back waiting. What they fail to realize is that life is passing them by. At some point, you have to stop being a spectator and make a decision to engage life. According to the Oxford Dictionary, to engage means to occupy or attract (someone's interest or attention),to participate or become involved with, to establish a meaningful contact or connection with. The first step to conquering life is making the decision to connect with it. You cannot be disengaged and expect to fulfill your destiny. Every day presents you with the opportunity to take steps toward the destiny and future that God has for your life. Every day of inaction you are choosing to create an ineffective life. Your tomorrow can be no greater than what you prepared for today. Stop hoping for a future season to reward you when you are sowing idleness in your current season. The reality is that destiny requires focus. Many people marvel at the things that God has allowed me to accomplish. However, everything that I have accomplished has been the result of focus. Distractions will always show up on the road to destiny. However, you cannot afford to entertain anything that will endanger your future. Whatever endangers your future is the enemy to your fruitfulness.
In closing, I hope you really comprehended the message that I just shared with you. You do not have as much time as you think you do. I am not trying to scare you or plant seeds of fear. However, I am challenging you to move from complacency to concentration, idleness to intentionality and mediocrity to meaning in your life. You have a destiny to fulfill and an impact to make in your sphere of influence. No two assignments are alike. Every call requires a different concentration and commitment. I am challenging you today to leave the place of existing and make the decision to evolve and become your best self. After all, when you bring your best to the world everything is benefited. It’s time for you to fulfill your destiny!
