As I write to you, I am super excited about everything that is happening in my life right now. A lot of new projects are in the works It is incredible to see the fulfillment of so many things that have been in my heart. This is an exciting moment in my life and the life of Jamelle Sanders International. This week is special for me. As you probably know, I have been telling you that big news was coming. Initially, I was going to make a big announcement at the end of April. However, we ran into some problems and we had to move some things back. All kinds of delays have come in the middle of this latest project. However, I have refused to let it deter me from destiny. It is with great pleasure that I announce to you my sixth book Chosen: Strategies for Revolutionary Leadership. It will be released this Tuesday, May 16, 2017. The book is available in print. Or you can download a digital copy for Amazon Kindle, Nook, or Apple’s iBooks. This is a big moment for me and I am thrilled to share this new book with you!
Have you been chosen? Are you fighting against the call on your life? Do you know the cost of being chosen? While many people will send congratulatory remarks for this milestone in my life, few will ever understand the price that comes with being me. I’ve learned over the years that people love your wisdom but they are not interested in your wars. In other words, everyone wants to benefit from your life but nobody cares about your battles. God has blessed me with massive influence all over the world. Everyday I hear from people that have been impacted and transformed by my work. Few things bring joy like hearing that your work is making a difference in the lives of people around the world. However, the price that comes with this platform is tremendous. I have faced great adversity, persecution, trials and tribulations. Everybody is interested in your success but very few people know the sorrows that come with being a trailblazer.
I’m excited about this new book. However, it is so much more than a book to me. This is a critical message that I want to impart to leaders around the world. Ultimately, the foundation of leadership has been broken globally. We cannot simply patch up the foundation. In this era, we must destroy and rebuild the foundation of leadership on the right pillars. I have never seen such deception, decay and decline in leadership around the world. We cannot continue to overlook the problems and hope that things will get better. I have devoted my life to training and developing leaders around the world. I wrote this book because I want to see authenticity and longevity in leadership. I want to see leaders established and becoming living examples of enduring leadership. After all, success without succession is failure. For too long we have promoted leaders simply based on merit and not morals. We have celebrated gifts but overlooked character and defects. I am on a mission to redefine leadership in the twenty-first century. I am gearing up for a very busy promotional schedule. However, there is a mandate on my life to raise up a generation of authentic, moral and conscious leaders that make a difference in their sphere of influence. This is my life’s work and it is part of my legacy. I want to see sustainable leaders making sustainable impact around the world. We do not need another scandal. What we need is to raise the standard and set new expectations for leaders in this era. Most importantly, leaders must know that influence will never be inexpensive. Part of my assignment is to help leaders recognize the cost of being chosen.
In closing, I want to take a moment and say thank you to every person that has believed in me and the global vision that God has given me. I have never encountered so much warfare around a project in my life. A few years ago I released a book with the same title. However, this book has been totally revised and updated with new chapters. I have seen so much in leadership over the years and I felt compelled to address the challenges and provide the cure. This book is a must-read for every leader and emerging leader. The state of our world is a reflection of the state of leadership. If you ever wanted to know my passion, I encourage you to read this book. So many people don’t understand the work that I do around the world. In fact, some people will never understand and I am fine with that. However, if you know that you are being compelled and prompted to make a difference, you need to read this book. I want to challenge your ideas about leadership and redefine how you lead. Leadership is broken and we need master builders to arise and bring solutions in this era. Great leaders never forget the cost of being chosen!
