As I write to you, I am coming off of another busy week. It has been a hectic time for me and for Jamelle Sanders International. I am so excited about all the amazing new projects that we are working on. Really soon I will be able to share more details with you so I hope you will stay tuned. It’s awesome to see so many great projects coming together. I know that these new projects are going to make a huge difference in so many people’s lives. We are getting ready to enter the third week of the second quarter. Stay focused on your goals and do not allow yourself to get sidetracked. Ultimately, I believe that getting sidetracked is what produces a second class life. Maintain your focus and devote your energy to the actions that will make you most effective. It is very important that you do not lose momentum!
Has your life come to a halt? Does it feel like you are in the middle of a never-ending cycle of frustration and defeat? Will you have the audacity to advance? Right before we went into 2017 I took some time to pray and meditate about what I felt the prophetic word for 2017 was. During that time of prayer and meditation, I kept hearing one word. The word that I heard was advance. At the time, I was just pondering it and doing some research to better understand what that meant. Honestly, I had no idea what that entailed but I kept the word at the forefront of my mind. According to the Oxford Dictionary, advance means to move forward in a purposeful way,move forward in time, make or cause progress. I love all of the meanings for the word. However, the definition that resonated with me the most was to move forward in a purposeful way. I am not sure that many people understand that progress must be purposeful. So many times we are just sitting back waiting for something miraculous to happen. Honestly, I know people that have spent a lifetime waiting but never winning in life. You have to reach a point where you stop sitting back hoping that your life will change. As I discovered in my own life, you have to be willing to get up and move in the direction of more. It is not enough to know that more is available to you. Uncommon achievers are bold enough to take massive action to manifest their dreams. I know that 2017 is a year of advancement. While the warfare will be great that surrounds your purpose, you must be willing to violently seize your promise. In other words, do not allow anything to make you stop short of victory in every area of your life. You will have many opportunities to be distracted and delayed. You are too close to entertain the idea of giving up or going back to your old life. Advance also means to move forward in time. It does not matter what has happened in the past. If you want 2017 to be your best year ever, then right now you need to make a decision to maximize this moment in your life. Stop being passive and stop allowing pressure to delay your progress. You have to be purposeful about moving forward in your life. Nobody is going to be as fervent about your future as you. Stop playing it safe and shift into a life of significance. Many of you reading this are standing at a crossroad in your life. Either you will advance or you will abort your purpose. You can keep entertaining thoughts of defeat or you can engineer victory. Advancement is not something that happens passively. You will never advance without persistence. In other words, it takes tenacity to change the trajectory of your life. This era demands forceful advancement. Otherwise, you will forfeit your assignment.
In closing, we are in very critical times. You cannot afford to live an idle and ineffective life. It is so important that you live every day on purpose and with intention. This era demands uncommon focus. If you want to advance you must address every enemy to focus in your life. After all, you will never advance without an adversary. Today I am commissioning you to war with this prophetic word. It is your year of advancement. However, you must also know that your decision to advance will attract opposition. Never expect to move forward in life without a fight. What I have discovered is that your future is always worth fighting for. It’s time for you to advance!
