A Fresh Start!

First of all, let me start off by saying Happy New Year! We are so fortunate to cross over into 2017. I believe that we have crossed over into a time unlike any other in history. You have been given a clean slate. 2017 presents you with a fresh opportunity to begin again, dedicate yourself to destiny and live the life that you were created to live. I know you are feeling excited about the possibilities. However, I want you to move from excitement to action. When the emotion fades you must have the endurance to make your goals a reality in 2017. The rewards of 2017 will be determined by your disciplines.
Are you excited about 2017? What do you want to accomplish in 2017? How do you plan to use your fresh start? Right now everybody is on cloud nine. We have celebrated the fact that it is a new year. As a leading Empowerment Specialist, I never get excited about the emotion that I see at the beginning of the year. Why do I say that? I know that in a few weeks everything will return to normal and most people will waste another year producing no results. I know about success and I know what it takes to consistently produce success in life. I want to have straight talk with you for a moment. You can write down all your goals and set as many resolutions as you want. However, that is not going to make you successful. You can create affirmations and attempt to practice positive thoughts but that will not make you successful either. I know by now that some of you are a little confused with my statements. I am not trying to confuse you but to bring you to a place of clarity. Honestly, most people cross over into a new year in theory but not in thought. The calendar may say 2017 but most people are still unconsciously living in 2016. You have to come to the awareness that 2016 is over and 2017 has just started. The excitement you have right now will soon fade. In fact, in a few weeks the gyms will clear out, goals will be abandoned and visions will go unfulfilled. When excitement fades you must have the habits in place that produce consistent results. If you want 2017 to be different then you need new habits in your life. 2017 can be an amazing year but it starts with a conscious decision on your part. You must make a conscious decision to embrace the gift of a fresh start. Do not take this new opportunity lightly. Structure your time, organize your life and make the investments that will set you up for success in every area of your life. Old paradigms will never create new possibilities. 2017 you can move from resolutions to new realities. You have a responsibility to take the blank page that you have been given and write a winning story for your life. When you stop looking behind you then you can recognize the significance of the blank page. Do not waste a single page of 2017 looking back at the past. Script out your story of victory! A clean state does not mean your victory will be immediate. Please know that 2017 will present challenges, oppositions, and adversity. However, if you can maintain your focus in the fire then you can embrace your prophetic future. A fresh start is simply the opportunity to change the direction of your life and to collide with prophetic destiny.
In closing, I am so thankful for a fresh start. I have made a conscious decision not to visit 2016 anymore. Even the good moments of 2016 need to stay in 2016. Crossing over is not just a cute cliche. Crossing over is a choice that you must make if you want to walk in victory in 2017. Refuse to get caught up in the emotion of a new year. Make the decision to develop the habits that produce lasting results and consistent breakthroughs in your life. The blessing of a blank page is that you have nobody to blame. We all have a clean slate and the opportunity to create success. This year refuse to rehearse the same sad stories and rehash the past. 2017 is the year that you must recommit to your purpose. I decree that 2017 will be a year of victory in your life. I decree that you will break through every barrier in 2017. I decree that this is the year that you will flourish and fulfill your purpose. Celebrate your fresh start!
