Well, we are literally days away from Christmas. I have been trying to get into the spirit this year. However, my schedule has been so insane that I have had a really difficult time getting into the holiday spirit. I hope that you are feeling festive and gearing up for a phenomenal time with your family. Take time to watch some holiday movies, enjoy some holiday cookies and just enjoy this season with your loved ones. One of the things that I love about the holidays is getting to spend quality time with the family and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Also, I love this time of the year because it is such a miraculous time. Christmas is more than presents and a good meal. Christmas is the celebration of the greatest king to ever live. The miraculous birth of Christ brings meaning to the season, joy to humanity and brought extraordinary hope to the world. One man's birth changed the world forever!
Do you believe in miracles? Are you looking for miracles? How can you find the miracle in every moment? When I think about Christmas my mind does not go to the presents, trees or even large family gatherings. When I think about Christmas I think about the birth of the King of Kings. The birth of Jesus is nothing short of miraculous. From the wise men that were guided by a star to the inn that had no room for Jesus. In addition, I think about the hope that filled humanity at the announcement that Christ was born. Christ was not just a baby being born. Christ was the Son of God coming to earth to reconnect humanity back to God. Such joy filled the world and faith was stirred in the hearts of humanity. An announcement made many generations ago was now a reality. So the Christmas story is more than a traditional story for me. The Christmas story comes alive as I think about the sovereign plan of God to restore humanity to a place of dignity and honor. The miracle of the birth of Christ still brings hope to the world today. I am a firm believer in miracles. Miracles only happen when you believe. Too many people have stopped believing and stopped hoping for a greater tomorrow. A miracle is a supernatural occurrence. Miracles defy the odds and redefine what is normal. Miracles destroy impossibilities, override natural laws and inspire us all to reach for greater possibilities. Miracles are always achieved when you have the audacity to reach beyond average. This holiday season I want you to expect miracles in your life. Expectation energizes your faith and brings extraordinary breakthroughs into your life. You are stepping into a season of miracles. According to the Oxford Dictionary a miracle is an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency. I dare you right now to welcome a new sense of wonder into your life. Remove your doubts and open the door to divine moments in every area of your life. Miracles are all around you just waiting to manifest. The fulness of time brought forth Christ. The fullness of time is desiring to bring forth change in your life. This year I want you to embrace the miraculous as a gift. Look for the miraculous in every day. See your life through the lens of what is possible and not your problems. One of the things that I have discovered is that when you discover the wonder of moments you become empowered to be a miracle worker. Make room for remarkable miracles in this season of your life. What you make room for in this season has the power to revolutionize your life. Make room for your promise!
In closing, I want you to grab ahold to these words. It is time for you to make room for more in your life. No more settling for a mediocre and limited existence. It is time to tap into another realm. You need to adjust your vision to see the invisible, to hear the inaudible and to access what once seemed unattainable. Your miracle is already in motion and it is time for you to grab ahold of it. I do not care what it looks like. Nor should you consult the circumstances in your life. Stop trying to reason your way into new possibilities and make room for new possibilities in your life. Jesus was not just the fulfillment of prophecy. Jesus was the manifestation of an eternal promise. Guess what? You have an eternal promise that you must embrace. It’s a season of miracles!
