Choose Life!

As I write to you, I am coming off of an amazing week of momentum. My fourth quarter has started out great and I am so blessed to see how much progress I have been able to make in only a few short weeks. I have so many great projects in the works and I cannot wait to share more with you soon. I have been doing a lot of reading and reflecting over the last few weeks and one theme continues to resonate with me. I believe that now more than ever before it is vitally important that you understand the power of choices. If you have followed my work for any length of time you know that I talk a lot about the power of choices and how they shape our lives. However, I feel compelled to expand on this topic as we move into this new era of impact.
What are you choosing? How have your choices impacted your life? When was the last time you made a good choice? First of all, I want you to understand that at any moment of your life you are choosing something. You are choosing progress or stagnation. You are choosing to be average or to be great. You are choosing to be victorious or defeated. You are choosing joy or sorrow. You are choosing destiny or default. No matter what cycle or stage of life you are in remember that you are always choosing something. This powerful truth revolutionized my life years ago and caused me to be more intentional about the choices that I was making. I wanted to live a life of purpose and a life of impact. That decision set me on a collision course with destiny and brought me into a level of influence that I never imagined possible. As great as that sounds I often think about what would have become of my life if I did not make right choices. Well, I can tell you exactly what would have happened. You would not be listening to my advice, reading my books or attending my seminars. The only reason you value what I say is because you have seen the results that my decisions have produced. According to the Oxford Dictionary to choose means to pick out (someone or something) as being the best or most appropriate of two or more alternatives. In addition, it means to decide on a course of action. Life presents us with many options. On the other hand, every option has an outcome. Some outcomes are progressive and some outcomes are painful. However, the choices that you make determine the results that you experience in your life. The greatest decision I ever made was to choose life. It is important that you choose life because it is the only choice that will cause the seed of greatness within you to grow. Also, choosing life is the only way that you preserve and perpetuate your legacy on this earth. God was very clear in scripture when He said to choose life. However, everyday I see people choosing death. The world is filled with people that want to take the easy road. Easy makes you feel comfortable but will never empower you to fulfill the call that is on your life. The choice is yours but I hope that you will choose life. Choose to live full and to live fulfilled. Choose to exhaust the limitless well of potential on the inside of you. Choose to love and live without limitations. Choose to be guided by principles and governed by higher standards. I dare you to choose life!
In closing, the reason that many are not experiencing true peace is because they have not made the decision to choose life. I could come to you with all kinds of eloquent and enticing words but I want to speak from the heart. Many of you are drawn to my message and fascinated with my work. The reason my work intrigues so many is because I have chosen life. With every breath in me I am inviting people around the world to choose life and experience what it feels like to wake up every single day with meaning and purpose. You may not know how to articulate it and you may not even understand it. However, I want you to choose life so that you can live a greater life and so the generations after you can reap the rewards of your decision. You cannot capitalize on this era of your life without making the decision to choose life. Your choices have brought you this far but right now you can make the ultimate choice and experience a life of total fulfillment. A greater life is on the other side of a decision!
