Why Not You?

Last week I was able to make progress on a major life goal. It was exciting to see it finally becoming a reality and I am excited about the future. On last week I talked a lot about the power of now. My writing resonated with so many of you around the world. In fact, I have already heard powerful stories of breakthrough and transformation. Many of you took those words to heart and you saw now manifestations in your life. This week I want to move beyond the now to another important factor that will contribute to your success in life. I believe this is the season to move from hope to manifestation. It is time to awaken to the possibilities of what your life can become. One of the most important things you can ever learn about success is that anything in your life can be different when you make the decision to dedicate yourself fully to change.

What is holding you back from living a greater life? Have you given yourself fully to the vision that God has placed on the inside of you? How will you silence the doubt and step into your destiny? Many people look at my life today and they marvel. They are astounded at the wisdom, insight and the incredible influence that I have around the world. However, my life has not always been so beautiful. In fact, there was a time where I did not think my life had any value. Nor did I believe that I would ever have the ability to influence the lives of people all over the world. However, one day something clicked and my life was changed forever. I had spent so much time admiring others that were changing the world. After a time of deep reflection and prayer I realized that God was calling me to be an agent of change. In other words, I was not just created to cheer for other change agents. I was created to be a change maker and world shaker. It was at this moment that my life took a sharp turn. My internal conversation shifted from all the reasons I could not make a difference to an incredible burden to make a difference in the world. Why not you? It is a question that I kept asking myself. That question compelled me to detach from everything that attached me to my past, develop for greatness and to deploy so that I could fulfill my purpose. In my new book Unbreakable: The Unbelievable True Story of Jamelle Sanders I delve deep into my journey to greatness. I talk about the best of times and the worst of times. You will see how I made the decision to be a difference maker in the world. You have to stop being talked out of transformation. Stop looking at your resources and the restrictions in your life. Start saying yes to destiny and watch revolution happen in your life. The conditions of your life do not have to detain you. At any moment you can shift your life by choosing destiny. The reality is that the only thing that keeps you from living at the next level is insecurity and inconsistency. Get out of your feelings and get focused on your future. Stop looking for change to come from another source. Realize that change starts with you. Yes you are reading that correctly. You can change the direction of your life. You can embrace the next dimension. You can become a change agent and difference maker in the world. You have not been looked over. You have just been living with a limited outlook. You are an instrument for change. It is time to stop holding your head down. Hold your head up, square your shoulders back and declare to the universe that change is now!

In closing, I believe that this is a powerful truth that will radically transform your life. You do not have to just sit back and admire others that are changing the world. You can participate in the transformation of the world. This is the last day you are going to live under the influence of a lie. You are not unqualified or insignificant. Your life has tremendous meaning. You have been born with a purpose and placed in this generation for an incredible assignment. You will not live another day of your life in insecurity, inferiority or wrestling with an identity crisis. It is time for you to claim your authority and become a change agent. Get up and make a difference in your sphere of influence. Why not you? Who better to change the world than you? Live like you know who you are. You are not going to live a life of constrictions, convenience or complacency. Why? You are the instrument of change!
