After last week, I have heard from so many of you all around the world. My post about living again has struck a chord with you and I am so glad that you found it to be valuable. This week I really felt prompted to speak along similar lines. Many of you were convicted and immediately started assessing your lives. 2016 is the year to live with focus and fearlessness. We are in the third quarter of the game and every play is pivotal. Let’s refuse to make this just another year. I challenge you to live with greater meaning and watch momentum start shifting in your favor. It’s time for you to live again!

Are you assessing your life? Do you want to live or are you comfortable with limitations? Will you make the decision to be relentless? In my new book Unbreakable: The Unbelievable True Story of Jamelle Sanders I talk a lot about being relentless in the pursuit of your vision. I have had some very low moments in my life. I have failed more times than some people would ever believe. However, I never allowed my failures to frame my future. I have always endeavored to look at the difficulties in the right context. I learned that I did not have to be defined by my circumstances. This journey has taught me that destiny requires concentration. As I look around the world I have come to understand that being relentless is rare. We live in a generation that is so quick to give up. In this micro society we want massive success. The reality is that micro success is not really success at all. Micro success is success that is short lived. What I know is that life is not about expediency but evolution. According to the Oxford Dictionary relentless means to be oppressively constant; incessant; harsh or inflexible. My favorite definition is to be inflexible. In fact, I define relentless as the ability to be undivided in focus, energy and completion. Being inflexible is reaching a point in life where we bypass the immediate and break through into the impossible. Relentless perspective always empowers you to reach your greatest potential. Relentless is being consistent even in the face of contradictions. This is a tool that is missing from the repertoire of many that desire success. You must have the ability to stick with your vision and to not be shaken in what you know you have been called to do. Whatever has the power to tear you away from your vision will ultimately terminate your vision.

In closing, I want you to understand that the only way you are going to achieve great results is to be relentless. Some people may not be interested in my life, journey or story. However, I hope you will at least take this principle and apply it to your life. Stop hoping for an easy life. I can tell you from experience that success does not come easy. It does not come by wishful thinking or positive affirmations. If you want to have a successful life then get ready to encounter adverse circumstances, winds of contradiction and intense challenges. After you are able to come through all of that with concentration and commitment then you are ready to step into success. The world is filled with critics that know nothing about what it takes to be successful. Until you have faced some resistance you will never know what it means to live a relentless life. Stop trying to claim what you do not have the capacity to possess. One of the greatest keys to living an unbreakable life is becoming relentless. The relentless will always rule!
