Summer is Here!

While I am sure that we have all heard the expression that seasons change, I don’t know if we understand the power in that simple truth. Just a few days ago we made that transition from spring into summer. In fact, last Monday was the first official day of summer and the longest day of 2016. 2016 has already been an incredible year. We were blessed to get an extra day because this is a leap year. Also, we have been blessed to step into a new season. Each season presents new opposition and new possibilities. I hope you will embrace this season of your life with concentration and courage!
What will your summer 2016 look like? What are you desiring to accomplish in this season of your life? What preparation have you made to maximize this season? Summer is an exciting time. It always brings up memories of the beach and vacation. Summer is also a time of reading, growth and enrichment. I always see summer as a time to relax and rejuvenate and to spend time with family. Summer has lots of benefits but you must perceive the power of this season. Any season that you fail to perceive will be a powerless season in your life. Whatever you do not seize will be snatched from you. In order to make this season of your life great you need to approach it with a clear plan and clear priorities. What I have learned about success is that you cannot maximize a season without preparation. Your tomorrow is the fruit of what you choose to focus on today. If you step into tomorrow without change it will be because you did not cultivate change today. Stop cursing the fruit and change what you are focusing on. Your life will always follow what you choose to focus on. Right now make a decision that this will be the greatest season of your life. Then create a plan to get to the destination that you have envisioned. I’m enjoying promoting my new book Unbreakable: The Unbelievable True Story of Jamelle Sanders. It is my autobiography about my amazing journey to success. This book is special because it speaks about the various seasons of my life. It has been my ability to capitalize on seasons that has created success for me again and again. Any season that you do not capitalize on will cost you. What have you been defrauded of because you could not discern a season? Every season holds instructions that unlock your prophetic destiny. Your understanding of that season is what will unlock the greatness that has been placed on the inside of you.
In closing, I hope that you have the most amazing summer of your life. Take a vacation. Get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax. Visit new places. Read new books. Create new adventures. Do not live the same mundane existence. I challenge you to manifest something extraordinary in your life. We cannot recapture moments but we can recognize the power of the moments in our lives. We are now ending the second quarter of this year. I do not want you to get depressed or start feeling defeated. However, I do want you think about the first half of 2016. I hope that as you look back over the first six months of 2016 that you were productive and that you are pleased with how you have lived the moments of your life. If not, I hope that you will approach the second half of this year with greater discernment and discipline. That you will once and for all eliminate every threat to elevating your life.
