Time to Thrive!

As I write to you today, we have officially crossed over into the second month of 2016. Things are calming down for me and I am finally having a moment to breathe in 2016. With so many commitments and priorities I really took some time this week to go over my goals for the year. I can see some of you looking confused. However, as someone that has coached people around the world on success I take my goals very seriously. While we may only be a few days into February, I wanted to make sure that I am making the most of my moments and that my activities are centered around my goals. You don’t want to start another month without first getting perspective on your first month of 2016. In essence, how you start a cycle will determine where you stand at the end of the cycle. Decide that you are going to start this year off right!

Can you believe it is already February? What was your January like? What did you accomplish in January? How could you have been more fruitful in January? I believe that 2016 is truly a powerful year. I believe it is the year that you will accomplish more and embrace more in every area of your life. However, I also know that some things cannot be embraced without elevation. You cannot change your life at the current level. You change your life by breaking through the ceiling that stands between you and the next level. 2016 is the year that you will thrive. You will thrive in spirit, soul and body. According to the Oxford Dictionary, thrive means to grow or develop well or vigorously, prosper or flourish. I don’t know about you but I want to prosper and flourish in everything that I do this year. This is a big year for Jamelle Sanders International and we have already hit the ground running to ensure that we reach our desired outcome. However, I have learned something about success. Success hinges upon your personal growth. So many times we have great goals and big dreams that we want to accomplish. I hear people sit back and recite what they have envisioned in the imagination. Yet I am disturbed when I hear no plan for growth or development mentioned with that vision. If you want to thrive then you have to make growth a central focus of your life this year. Look at the goals you have written down and think about everything that each goal entails. I want you to look at everything the goal entails not to frustrate you but to focus you. When you have goals without plans discouragement sets in and distances you from the life that you desire. Therefore, thriving is truly about not only having a picture of success but possessing the equipment to manifest your expectations. If you want to thrive then you must transform your paradigm to prosper. An old paradigm will never bring you into a new place. Often times the greatest enemy to you flourishing is the former season.

In closing, I believe with all my heart that God desires for you to thrive in 2016. I heard this word for the year and I am already seeing it manifest in my own life. However, you know me well enough to know that I want to see every person succeed. I know that in order for that to happen you have to be willing to develop well. Development is not a bad thing but it is a necessary thing if you want to fulfill your prophetic destiny. What you evade will always war against evolution in your life. You have to stop seeing development as something that you can elect to do and see it as something that you must essentially do. You can thrive this year. You can live more healthy, have meaningful relationships, prosper in your finances and so much more. Remember that the steps you take today will determine where you stand at the end of 2016. Make the most of the moment and choose to mature in every area of your life. It’s your time to thrive!
