As we prepare to close out another year, I hope that you and your family had a very Merry Christmas! I truly enjoyed the food, fun and the time spent with my family during the holiday. However, our attention now turns to the ending of 2015. 2015 has been a trying but transformational year for me. 2015 brought difficult decisions, severing of toxic relationships and major shifts that were not always comfortable. Yet I can truly say that I have learned some invaluable lessons in 2015. I started 2015 by declaring this was a year that I would live big. I had no idea that the declaration to live big would create battles in my life. Those battles have made me better and birthed me into my destiny. Living big requires that you loose everything that would stand in the way of breakthrough in your life. I declared that this would be a year of manifestation and I seen so many incredible things manifest in my life. I am sure that you have been challenged to live bigger and press for more in every area of your life as well!
How was 2015 for you? What lessons did you learn? What battles did you have to fight this year? What goals were you able to accomplish? If you had to assess 2015 what would that assessment look like? For years I have empowered people around the world to fulfill purpose and maximize their greatest potential. One thing I am certain of is that you cannot ascend into new levels of greatness without first assessing your life. You need to assess your goals, finances relationships, spiritual life, etc. Now is a great time to pull out your journal and assess 2015. Look back at your original intentions for 2015. Did you take time assess each week, each month each quarter? How closely have you lived out your goals and objectives for this season of your life? No cycle is complete without reflection. Reflection is powerful because it give us the opportunity to measure our results and to realign for maximum impact. You cannot experience momentum without measuring results. New possibilities cannot emerge without taking time to assess the present. Finishing the year strong is all about assessment and finding strategies to improve your life. Prevailing in the next season requires that you plan and prioritize in the current season. Finishing strong is having a clear plan, plan checkups and consistent progress so that your goals can manifest. Stop accepting things that do not accelerate your life. Get real about the things that are hindering your ability to rise to the level of your potential. If you refuse to settle and soak in yesterday’s disappointments you still have time to go out of 2015 victorious!
In closing, 2015 was a great year! I was recognized as an Iconic Leader, I released my fourth book Chosen, won numerous awards, formed new partnerships and expanded the brand around the world. However, not everything I experienced this year was pleasant. One of the keys to my achievement is my ability to maintain my perspective even when I encounter situations that are not pleasant. Disappointments have the potential to derail you. However, the right perspective will propel you into your destiny. I am so appreciative for everything that God continues to do in my life. Also, I am thankful for all of you around the world that continue to believe in and support my work. The lessons I have learned this year have empowered me to crush fear, cultivate focus and create fruitfulness in my life. I hope you will take a moment and reflect on the lessons that you have learned in 2015. Make a decision that you will not carry unfinished business into a new cycle. You can and you must finish strong!
