Renewed Vision!

While I was preparing to write to you this week, I took time for prayer and meditation as I always do. During that time I heard the words renewed vision. Last week I spoke to you about the importance of refocusing. We are coming to the end of summer. Many of us have enjoyed vacations, celebrated big moments and spent time with our families. The summer often causes us to get relaxed. However, as a life and business strategist I know that too much relaxation can interfere with results. I have used the last few weeks to refocus and reassess my life and some of my goals. Now my attention turns to renewed vision. A vision that you do not protect will perish. You cannot afford to allow alternative pursuits to make you abandon your purpose.
Has your vision become distorted? Do you have a vision for your life? What will it take for your vision to be renewed? Many people are defeated because their vision has become distorted. When the blind lead the blind they both fall into the ditch. When your vision becomes distorted you lack the direction you need to fulfill your prophetic destiny. Sadly, I talk to people every single day that have no vision for their lives. They live as prisoners to the pressures of life and slaves to their circumstances. Vision is not an addendum it is an absolutely necessity for your life. Vision gives your life direction, definition and distinction. We are coming into a season of renewed vision. To renew means to resume an activity after an interruption. Renew also means to reestablish or reaffirm. Think about the interruptions that have impeded your progress and stunted your growth. You must remove every barrier to success and reaffirm your vision. You need to be reestablished and rooted in your vision like never before. Without renewal you will live your entire lifetime restricted. Restrictions reduce our lives to mediocrity. Now is the time to renew your vision and embrace new realities. You will never reign without being renewed.
In closing, I believe that we are in a very important season. I believe that without the right perception the pressures of life will devour you in this season. You must guard your vision with all vigilance. Make your calling and election sure. Concentrate on the activities that bring you closer to your destiny in this season. You have been called to be a visionary leader in this generation. Don’t let victimization rob you of your vision in this season. Stop concentrating on the obvious and concentrate on the opportunities that are all around you. If you don’t allow your perception to become tainted you can be propelled into new possibilities for your life. It’s a season of renewed vision!
