It is really hard to believe that we are getting ready to go into August. As an entrepreneur, I hope that you are gaining traction and experiencing breakthroughs in your business. Last month I told you about a revolutionary new mobile app called Periscope. The blog resonated with so many of you and the traffic to the blog has been amazing. More and more entrepreneurs are starting to see the power of this new tool in their businesses. Since the response was so overwhelming, I decided to continue writing about Periscope and why I think you should be using it in your business.

  • Periscope is a totally different app. I can hear some of you complaining and saying that you have had enough of social media. You may even be saying that you do not want another social media platform to have to manage. However, I think you are really missing the point with Periscope. Traditionally, businesses had to promote their businesses with ad campaigns and other marketing tactics. However, Periscope does not require you to market traditionally. Periscope is a live streaming app giving you the ability to go live and get up close and personal with potential customers and clients.

  • Periscope gives you the opportunity to connect at a deeper level. While I love Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and all the other social media platforms, Periscope trumps them all when it comes to connection. Anyone with a phone can go live and connect with people all over the world. My scopes are growing in popularity and I have seen community members from around the globe tune in and connect with me on Periscope. This is an unprecedented opportunity. We don’t have to rely on tweets and Facebook advertising. We now have a direct channel to potential customers and we can reach them in real time.

  • Periscope gives you the opportunity to grow your email list. According to Creative Hive, Periscope is a phenomenal tool for growing your email list. Each time I do a scope I always introduce myself, speak about my company and tell a little about what I do. Then I jump into my topic and provide value to those that tune in. As a life and business strategist, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience that I draw from in each scope. My topics often spark great conversations and insightful questions. I always make sure to end my scopes by restating who I am and what I do. Also, as more people are intrigued about my products and services I offer them the opportunity to connect and join my mailing list. I have seen a 50% increase in mailing list subscribers since joining Periscope. It often takes years to build up your email list. However, Periscope is allowing you to leverage your skills and build an audience at an accelerated rate.

  • Periscope can lead to increased sales in your business. As a business strategist, I have fallen in love with Periscope. Every week I host a scope around business and social media strategies. The scope has become very popular and some tune in every single week to hear my advice. As the demand has increased, I have created new products and services to help entrepreneurs succeed in their businesses. Additionally, many entrepreneurs have started to reach out to me for coaching and mentoring. I have seen my sales increase substantially as a result of using Periscope. Many of my fellow entrepreneurs are reporting similar results. As I have stated before, I believe that Periscope is one of the most revolutionary technologies of our time. We have only scratched the surface of how powerful this platform can be. I hope that you will get on the platform and start scoping.

In closing, I don’t think you need any more proof about Periscope. This is a free technology that can offer amazing benefits to your business. With a simple download you can start broadcasting and reaching people all over the world. You need to take advantage of this technology. You never know what opportunities may emerge.
