Win in Life!

All and all, last week was an incredible week. In case you haven’t heard I was recognized by The Huffington Post as an Icon Next for excellence in leadership. I am so honored and humbled by this award and so many people have reached out to me with kind words and well wishes. It was timely that this honor would be announced as I am busy promoting my new book Chosen: The Shifting of 21st Century Leadership. So many of you are contacting us and telling us how this book is resonating with you. Some many of you are experiencing powerful breakthroughs and I am thrilled to hear your stories. Nothing compares to the personal stories of transformation. I am truly excited and it just fuels me to continue to get this message into the hands of more leaders!

Have you been chosen? Are you committed to winning in life? What price are you willing to pay to win in life? Chosen could not have been released at a better time. As racial tension has hit a fever pitch in this nation, earthquakes are occurring at an unprecedented rate and nations are facing a myriad of challenges, leadership is needed now more than ever before. I’m tired of us simply treating the symptoms. It is time for a real shift in leadership! I have learned that winning in life starts with making a commitment to win. Commitment is not heard. Commitment is seen. You will never win in life without a made up mind. Commitment moves beyond desire to demonstration. I believe that winning in life is making a decision to be a demonstration of leadership in your generation. I didn’t just write a book for the sake of writing a book. I wrote this book because these are principles that I have applied to my own life and gotten results. I did not recycle information. I have shared insights from my own journey to empower us all to lead more effectively. If we want to win then we need a winning formula. Moral decline, ethical decay and social deterioration is not the blueprint of a thriving society. We must get back to principles and values if we want to produce a winning culture.

In closing, my prayer for Chosen is that this book will incite a generation to action. I want the principles to permeate every facet of society. My desire is that you will be so empowered by this book that you take your rightful place of authority in this world. I believe that this book is a prophetic announcement to a generation that things must change now. We must understand that we are responsible for reformation. Chosen is awakening a new generation of leaders that will impact the world in a profound way. I can sense the shifting already! The vacuum of leadership is being filled. New leaders are arising in this hour. This book introduces new models, new insights and new ideas for changing how we lead in the twenty-first century.
