After a very productive but challenging week, I spent a lot of time reflecting. I reflected on victories and defeats. I reflected on how everything that happens in our lives is a building block that we can use to become the best versions of ourselves. While I encountered some difficult moments and decisions last week, I was mature enough to not allow those experiences to rob me of the power of my moments. You cannot afford to allow moments to be snatched from you if you are serious about manifesting success. Misery is birthed out of missed moments.

Can you discern the power of a moment? What has robbed you of moments in your life? How can you ensure that another moment is not stolen from you? It is hard to believe that we are literally ending the first quarter. I remember it like yesterday that we were entering into 2015. Everyone was so excited and making resolutions for the year. However, we are now three months in and most people have resulted back to mediocrity. While I hope this is not the case for you, I know a great deal about success and I know that regrets manifest when we do not recognize moments. For every moment we miss we are robbed of momentum in our lives. You cannot spend another year in mediocrity. Aren’t you ready to experience more in your life? Then you should stop settling for convenience and set out on the course to change. Moments are divine opportunities to shatter ceilings, shift cycles and solidify change in your life. Moments hold the difference between fulfillment and frustration. Moments are presented to us every single day of our lives. You have the opportunity to leave the shores of mediocrity and shift into a more meaningful life and existence. The choice is yours. You will never live a maximized life doing the minimum. You cannot demand more until you first demonstrate more.

In closing, I had a few opportunities to miss out on incredible moments last week. However, I chose to protect my moments and the prize was momentum. I was able to maintain my advantage because I was not moved by adversity. The more I focused on my goal I forced the obstacles to my success to be removed. Distractions are simply moment snatchers. Stop giving your attention to things that pull you away from your assignment. Prioritize your purpose and pinpoint everything that seeks to interrupt your progress. This quarter is over but you now have a second chance to silence the noise that stands between you and change. Don’t miss the moment!
